Winter’s coming to the art room!

I hope everyone is getting ready for the winter season. We definitely are ready in the art room. After finishing up a few of the fall projects, some of the grades are beginning winter projects. Kindergarten is working on making white snowflakes just in time to take home for winter break and first grader’s have just begun a “Snowmen at Night” Project. Please feel free to click on the grade links to find out what your student is working on.

In the near future, 4th grade will be starting a collage project and 2nd grade will be starting a cityscape project. For both of these projects, students will be gathering pictures from magazines. If you have any age appropriate magazines at home that you are no longer reading (preferably magazines with people, cars, food), please feel free to send them in with your student, as they would be of great use to us. Thanks so much for your help!

We’re in full swing!

So far things have been going well here in the art room. All the grades are doing a great job working on their projects. I have seen many talented works and some great ideas already this year. If you would like to see what your student or what your class is working on please click the link for your grade. Keep up the good work!
